What is the Process?
Unfortunately, there is no way to transfer your real estate license online. You will need to fill out the transfer form linked above.
Note: To make it easier for you, you do not need to upload the form with your signature. If you upload the form without signature, we will send you a request for electronic signature.
After you have completed the form, upload it below, our team will review it and send you a signed copy as soon as possible.

Obtain a check or money order in the amount of $25.00 made payable to “Treasurer, State of Connecticut"
This is the license transfer fee accessed by the State of Connecticut.
Mail the completed transfer form and transfer fee to the Department of Consumer Protection (DCP) to the address provided below:

Once your transfer has been processed, our team will send you a Welcome Email. In that email, you will be guided on how to access and set up your resources, tools and trainings.
How Long Does the Process Take?
After the DCP has received your transfer form, it typically takes about 3-5 business days to be processed.

Remember: Now that you have transferred your license, you will also need to transfer any affiliations. Here are instructions on how to transfer your affiliations.

Instructions to transfer your license if you are currently a member of NHMR but under a different brokerage:

Instructions to transfer your license if you are currently a member of another board of Realtors or not a member to any:
Upload your completed Member Application above
We will review and email you a signed copy of your member application
Email complete Member Application to the email address provided at the bottom of the first page of the application
Contact your current board of Realtors an inquire about their specific process of deactivating membership
Complete Code of Ethics class within 30 days of your join date.
